No one will ever beat Tom and Jerry, and the Roadrunner show!!
Keeping our highways safe for over 40 years

Marlin

Pinky and the Brain, I loved that show.

Laundry Man

Fireball XL-5 was another favorite.
LM

RTRT

Dark Shadows with Jonathan Frid playing Barnabas Collins.....

radbrat

Pinky and the Brain, I loved that show

Why would you hate to admit this.....Remember the episode where Brain developed his own sovereignty in the south pacific and he was negotiating with Bill and Hillary.

Hillary: Before we recognize your country and negotiate for foreign aid.. would you be willing to store some High Level Radwaste for us?

Brain: And what would that be?

Hillary: Strontium-90 and Yttrium.

Brain: Done.

See.... the show had all our answers for High Rad Waste.

Remember who you love. Remember what is sacred. Remember what is true.
Remember that you will die, and that this day is a gift. Remember how you wish to live, may the blessing of the Lord be with you

Technically I'm not doing that! I'm defending one of the finest pieces of Day time TV of all time. I literally used to run from school, get a big glass of Cherry kool aid and watch Barnabas from 4PM to PM. Then Ultra Man, then Johnny Socko and his flying robot.

the best Sokko episode...

Meanwhile us normal kids enjoyed....

We didn't get that on Chanel 43 or 61 in Northern Ohio. (I rather miss the days of having 3 channels on regular TV, plus the 2 UHF channels that showed great bizarre stuff!)

Dynagirl YES!!  Ultraman YES!!  Dark Shadows....ummmm, can you say twilight 1960s style?  YUCK!  Saw a few reruns never got into it.  Tom and Jerry and the Roadrunner show were the best but that goes without saying, need to go deeper.

My little sisters were seriously into it when they were about 10 and 12 years old, too. I tried to watch it once and came to the same conclusion as HouseDad.

I was, am still and will always be a fan of The Monkees. I was never called by name on Romper Room as I have never met another soul who has my name :(

I loved Dark Shadows and was scared to death of Angelique!

I believe those of us born in the 40-60's ( me 1958 ) had the best of the best; music, tv, etc. SciFi just hasn't been the same since we landed on the moon...

I like hot dog flavored potato chips,...

I do have concerns that potato chips which taste like hot dogs are probably worse for me than either hot dogs or potato chips,...

I agree we had the best, but I think the point at which sci-fi slipped into the hog confinement was after the original Battlestar Galactica, aka Exodus in Space :)

As a kid, I used to think TBHQ was some sorta chemical preservative that made the stuff taste barbecue-like and not spoiling. Turns out it is used in fracking oil fields. We're better off just eating plain bacon cured in nothing but salt water and real sugar!
